The deacon ministry is dedicated to the welfare of the body of Christ. Our deacons serve the spiritual and physical needs of those in our church family by working alongside our pastors to care for our congregation. Each person in our fellowship is part of a 'Deacon Family' wherein they receive on-going support and encouragement from deacons, staff, and other members.
Deacons provide leadership, care, and ministry throughout the year in our worship services as well as in special projects such as our benevolence ministry and the Thanksgiving Gift Baskets to shut-ins.
Matthew 25:35-36
35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'
